Gadar 2 OTT Release: Sunny Deol starrer “Gadar 2” is finally hitting the digital screens soon. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film brings back the iconic character of Tara Singh, which Sunny Deol portrayed brilliantly in the 2001 blockbuster, “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.” “Gadar 2” was released in theatres on August 11 and became one of the biggest blockbusters of all time.

Produced by Zee Studios, “Gadar 2” also reunites the audience with Ameesha Patel, who reprises her role as Sakeena, and introduces Utkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet. The announcement of the digital premiere was made by ZEE5 on its official social media handle. The post reads, “The countdown begins! Tara Singh is all set to win your hearts! India’s Biggest Blockbuster is coming on Zee5 in just 2 days!”
Gadar 2 will be available on ZEE 5 from 6 October onwards.
“Gadar 2” has grossed an impressive Rs 500 crore at the box office.
Apart from Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, the film also features talented actors like Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, and Simrat Kaur, adding depth to the ensemble cast.
On its opening day in theaters, “Gadar 2” made a remarkable Rs 40 crore, as reported by trade analyst Taran Adarsh. This outstanding performance placed it as the third-best opener of 2023, following Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” and “Jawan.”
“Gadar 2” carries forward the legacy of its predecessor, the 2001 hit film. Set against the backdrop of India’s partition in 1947, it brings back the unforgettable characters of Tara, the fearless truck driver portrayed by Sunny Deol, and Sakina, played with grace by Ameesha Patel.
