It’s only normal for actors to catch feelings for each other working together, some turn out to be true, some mere rumors. In the case of actress Fathima Sana Shaikh, who rose to popularity with her outstanding performance in the global hit movie ‘Dangal’ co-starring Aamir Khan, the actress has been prey to certain accusations that she doesn’t approve of.
Right after their movie’s release, there were some rumors about Aamir and Fathima’s close relationship. The two had been headlines for quite some time because of this topic, which later disappeared. But with the recent divorce of Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao, the rumors caught fire again, only this time, people believed that Aamir-Fathima’s closeness has contributed to it. The couple had called off their marriage after a successful 15 years and an adorable son together, which came as a shock to many fans to deny believing that the couple would split anytime soon. While it was confirmed by Aamir and Kiran themselves as the two released an official joint statement:
“In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy, and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect, and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other. We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalize this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does. We remain devoted parents to our son Azad, who we will nurture and, raise together.”
Rumour has it that one of the reasons behind the divorce is in fact Aamir and Fathima’s relationship that had reportedly left Kiran Rao disappointed to an extent where the couple called it quits. While this only is a rumor, when being asked about the same, the ‘Dangal’ actress confronted
“Earlier, I used to get affected. I’d feel bad. Because I’ve never dealt with anything of this sort at such a big level. A bunch of strangers, whom I’ve never met, are writing things about me. They don’t even know if there’s any truth to it. People reading it assume that I’m ‘not a good person. You feel like telling that person, ‘Ask me, I’ll give you an answer. It disturbs me because I don’t want people to assume wrong things. But I’ve learned to ignore it. Yet, there are some days when I do get affected.”
Shockingly, Aamir is not the only co-star the actor is alleged dating too! Earlier there were rumors about Fathima dating another Dangal co-star Sanya Malhotra. While the two rubbished the rumor, in fact, mocked people for coming up with such lame gossip.
True or not true, we just hope these rumors don’t affect Fathima, it’s up to one’s personal decision what they wish to do, be it with respect to their films or any personal matter.
