Renowned choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan has addressed concerns about her well-being after videos from her visit to Lalbaugcha Raja emerged online, showing her being held by a friend amidst a crowd of devotees. In response, Farah took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the experience and express her gratitude.
Describing it as the “most amazing darshan,” Farah posted a video of her visit to Lalbaugcha Raja and reassured her followers, saying, “Had the most amazing darshan of #lalbaughcharaja… right at his feet… despite whatever you will see in videos of me looking incapacitated due to crowds, I just want to say it was all worth it.” She went on to thank the security personnel, volunteers, and police who manage the massive crowds at the festival with care and understanding.
Acknowledging the support she received during her visit, Farah expressed her gratitude to actor Sonu Sood, who accompanied her, and Rakesh Kothari for personally escorting her. She described the experience as “divine” and highlighted its significance for every Mumbaikar. Sonu Sood responded to her post with the traditional “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
On her Instagram Stories, Farah also shared a photograph with Rakesh Kothari, acknowledging his role in ensuring she could seek blessings at the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja.
In recent times, several celebrities, including Anupam Kher, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, Ahan Shetty, and Tusshar Kapoor, have made visits to Lalbaugcha Raja to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha as part of the annual Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
