Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who will soon be seen alongside Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan is now rumored about playing the role of his wife in Atlee’s directorial Jawan. Deepika Padukone To Play Shah Rukh Khan’s Wife In Jawaan?
Chennai Express and Happy New Year actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in Siddharth Anand’s film Pathaan. Meanwhile, recently many rumors and reports surfaced on the internet stating that the actress has been roped in by the makers of Jawan to play a cameo role in the film while many reports claimed that the actress will be seen essaying the role of Shah Rukh’s wife in the film.
On Sunday, a video of the duo went viral in which Deepika and Shah Rukh were seen landing in Chennai. Confirming the rumors, Deepika and Shah Rukh were spotted with Jawan’s director Atlee while Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani was also spotted in the video. Take a look-
Meanwhile, earlier in June, a source told Hindustan Times that the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing a ‘double role’ in the film, Jawan. The source further stated that Shah Rukh will play the role of a ‘father’ and a ‘son’. Meanwhile, actress Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the ‘wife’ of the senior role of Shah Rukh, on the other hand, South superstar Nayanthara will be doubling up as junior SRK’s love interest.
The source said, “Padukone has a powerful character in Jawan, which features Shah Rukh in a double role as a father and son. She plays SRK’s wife and features in the film’s flashback sequences. It’s a short but very important role, which acts as a key differentiator to the plot,”

Atlee’s directorial film, Jawan stars Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and South superstar Nayanthara in the lead. The actioner film of Bollywood’s King Khan is scheduled to release on 2nd June 2023. Since it is a pan-India film it will be releasing in in five languages namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh will again share the screen space with his Om Shanti Om co-star Deepika Padukone in Siddharth Anand’s film Pathaan. Apart from Deepika and Shah Rukh, the film will also star John Abraham in the lead.
