KoffeeWithKaran7: Mommy-to-be Sonam Kapoor recently made her comeback on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan with her brother Arjun Kapoor. However, during the beginning of the episode, the filmmaker made quite an intriguing introduction as he talked about getting married to take his revenge on people who didn’t invite him to his wedding. While many doubted if he was mentioning Bollywood actresses Deepika and Katrina, know why-
KJo Unhappy With Katrina-Deepika For Not Inviting Him At Their Weddings?
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar grabbed quite some attention of his fans and viewers on his chat show, Koffee With Karan 7 after he began the episode by talking about weddings, “You know I’ve said it often enough that I’m never getting married. But there are times I really want and for one reason, and one reason alone. No, no not love, you romantic fools not love at all. I want to get married so that I can finally get to not invite everybody, who did not invite me to their wedding. Other people have revenge bods, I will have a revenge wedding. Everyone, like everyone in Bollywood, now does private destination weddings, intensely closed-door affairs, and really small guest lists. Yes, we get it. But I haven’t made it to any destination. Tuscany, Jodhpur, nowhere. Although I did make it to Alia’s balcony.”
What made everyone doubt, is when the filmmaker mentioned, ‘Tuscany’ and ‘Jodhpur’ in his statement, however, he didn’t mention the actresses directly. For the unversed, actress Deepika and Katrina both got married to their partners at Lake Come, Italy, and Madhopur, Rajasthan, respectively. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Anushka Sharma got married in Jodhpur and Tuscany, Italy.
Apparently the filmmaker, Karan Johar didn’t get to attend the weddings of the actresses, as the weddings remained as one private wedding among family and close friends. However, as he mentioned he did went to Alia Bhatt’s wedding and other functions.
Koffee With Karan Season 7 premieres on Disney+Hotstar. The recent episode featured Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan. Previously, the couch has witnessed Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan-Janhvi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar-Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Vijay Deverakonda-Ananya Panday.
Meanwhile, the Koffee With Karan episode featuring them will premiere on Hostar on Thursday at 12 AM.
