Deepika Padukone has joined the list of presenters for the 95th Academy Awards which will air live on ABC on Sunday, March 12, 2023. On Thursday night, Deepika took to Instagram and shared an exciting news with the names of all the presenters.
Deepika joins the likes of Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Janelle Monáe, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Connelly, Riz Ahmed, Melissa McCarthy among a few others.
As soon as Deepika dropped the news, many celebrities and netizens flooded her comment section to congratulate her. Her husband Ranveer Singh, sister Anisha Padukone to actress Neha Dhupia and many such celebrities and her fans gave her congratulatory wishes.
Priyanka Chopra was the first Indian actor to have been selected as a presenter at the Academy Awards, and now Deepika has become the second Indian to be one of the presenters at the Oscars.
Deepika is currently enjoying the success of her recently released movie Pathaan, where she was paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film has grossed over Rs. 1000 crore at worldwide box office becoming the highest grosser Hindi film. The actress will be next seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan.
