Cannes 2022: During the inauguration of the Indian Pavilion on the second day of the Cannes Film Festival, actresses Deepika Padukone, Urvashi Rautela, Tamannaah Bhatia along with Pooja Hedge all danced to the ‘Ghoomar’ song from Padmavat.
Indian singer Mame Khan has sung the very famous song ‘Ghoomar’ during the inauguration ceremony at the Cannes film festival. Ghoomar song is from Deepika Padukone’s famous film Padmavat. As soon as the song began actress Deepika Padukone couldn’t keep herself in the chair and with excitement the actress started grooving to the song. Deepika led the other actors in doing the ghoomar steps.
During the inauguration, Deepika went for a whole black look and so did Urvashi. While actress Tamannaah was seen in a yellow dress and Pooja in a white one. All four grooved together amid applause from other members of the contingent and the media.
India has been named the ‘Country Of Honour’ for ‘Marche du Film’ at Cannes this year and the Indian contingent is led by Anurag Thakur, the Information and Broadcasting Minister. The delegation members included several celebrities like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, AR Rahman, Ricky Kej, Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia, and R Madhavan.
