Bhumika Chawla Recalls Working With Satish Kaushik For Tere Naam & KKBKKJ

Actress Bhumika Chawla mourns the demise of Satish Kaushik who directed her first Hindi film 'Tere Naam''.

“Tere Naam” fame Bhumika Chawla is currently hitting the headlines for her upcoming film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” alongside Salman Khan. The actress has reunited with Salman Khan after 20 years. The promotions of KKBKKJ are going on in full swing. The entire star cast including Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Bhumika Chawla, Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal and Siddharth Nigam are busy promoting the film. However, at the same time, they dearly miss their co-star Satish Kaushik, who passed away on 9th March due to a heart attack.

Bhumika Chawla said in an interview, “His passing away came as a shock to the whole industry and the whole country because he was a very happy person. Whenever I used to talk to him or see his social media posts, he’d always say that he has started working out a lot. He used to say that he has become health conscious. When such things happen to cheerful people, you suddenly realize that life is just a bubble. I missed him at the trailer launch. It would have been nice if he was there because he was also the director of my first Hindi film ‘Tere Naam’. He made ‘Tere Naam’ which is such a cult film that people remember till today. I just have to say that it is all god’s wish.”

Remembering the time from the sets of “Tere Naam”, Bhumika told, “When we sat together on set, I found out that even he was from Delhi. He used to talk to my mother. He and my mother used to live a street apart. It was a coincidence of which even I was not aware. He used to stay in Karol Bagh. My mother was born and brought up there.”

“Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” is produced by Salman Khan and will hit the theatres on 21 April.
