The kissing scene from the movie Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has become the talk of the town. The kiss between the main leads Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar also raised many eyebrows because it is uncommon to see the same-sex kiss on a big screen.
Meanwhile, the film will be censored by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for further certifications. It will be interesting to see if the same-sex kiss escapes through the Censor Board’s scissors or not.
According to the reports, the kiss in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan will likely be given a clean chit by the Central Board of Film Certifications (CBFC). Members of the Censor Board will soon be shown the film ahead of its release on 21st February 2020. The film is likely to pass the Censor Board with a few minor changes.
Speaking of the kiss Jitendra Kumar said, “I am a reserved person, but Ayushmann made me comfortable. He is easy to work with and is quite friendly.”
Talking about Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, it is a sequel of 2017 movie Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar, the film also features Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao along with Bhumi Pednekar making a guest appearance.
