Article 370 Vs Crakk: Who Will Dominate The Box Office?

Both the movies have completely different genres, so the box office clash won't be a fair competition, but as per Sacnilk's report, Crakk and Article 370 will open around 3–5 crore in India.

February 23 has started with the release of two much awaited movies, “Article 370” and “Crakk”. So far, both movies have received better reviews from audiences. There can’t be competition between the two as they are of different genres, but there will be comparison between the box office collections of the two. There are many trade experts in the market who have analyzed the box office collections of these two movies.

Crakk and Article 370 have different audiences. As per the major response actions films like Jawan, Pathaan, and Animal etc. gained, one might think that Crakk would get the same response. Crakk is a sports action film. Though there is an audience who loved this film, many have criticized the exaggerated action scenes of Vidyut Jammwal in the film. On the other hand, Yami Gautam starrer “Article 370” is a reality based movie which is made for each and every citizen in the country. This movie depicts the necessity of removing article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and has a larger audience. It thoroughly explains the situation in August 2019 when the decision was made. Till date, removal of article 370 is a hot topic in the country. Also, the movie has seized the timing of the pre-election era, which might help the film to garner more audience.

Article 370’s trailer has already created curiosity amongst the audience. As per the report of Outlook, trade expert Girish Johar said that Article 370 is superior to Crakk. It just needs a little push by the government. But he further said that both the films will hardly open around 2–3 crores. Another expert, Lokendra Jain, cited a reason for this, saying,” February and March are exam months and thus there is not much business during these months.”

As per Sacnilk’s report, Yami Gautam’s Article 370 may collect Rs.5 crore on the first day in India and Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal starrer Crakk will open at Rs.3 crore in India. Now let’s see who wins this undecided race.
