Exclusive: Bhagyashree Filming For The Movie “Maa Santoshi Maa” With Alok Nath

Bhagyashree turns 55 today on February 23. Bhagyashree made her Bollywood debut through the film “Maine Pyar Kiya”. The movie became a megahit and Bhagyashree came into the media’s limelight. She got a lot of recognition after the movie’s success, but she decided to marry instead of carrying forward her film career. And after 4 years, she returned to industry with her husband as her co-star. Though all her movies didn’t turn out to be successful, those are at least known to people. But there is a movie by Bhagyashree which was not in discussion, named “Maa Santoshi Maa”.

Bhagyashree and Alok Nath again worked together for the film “Maa Santoshi Maa”, which is said to be released in July 2003. Rare behind the scene footage of this film has been published by Lehren Retro. In the exclusive filmed video, Bhagyashree wore a golden wedding lehenga and Alok Nath, who played the role of her father, stood next to her. It was the filming of Bidai song where Bhagyashree got married and going to her husband’s place.
