Anil Kapoor Recalls His Memories With Irrfan Khan; Check Out

The sudden demise of versatile actor Irrfan Khan left the whole of the entertainment industry heartbroken. The late actor took his last breath in Mumbai on April 29, 2020. He was battling a rare type of cancer for the past 2 years but sadly he surrendered and succumbed to death. Many Bollywood celebs paid tribute to the star and extended condolences to his family.

Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan’s Slumdog Millionaire co-star Anil Kapoor has opened up about the magical trait of the late actor. The veteran actor feels that his co-star Irrfan had the capability to make everyone around him smile just with his own infectious smile.

Anil Kapoor shared some throwback pictures with Irrfan Khan from the Slumdog Millionaire’s Oscar-Winning moments. Kapoor captioned the pictures, “These pictures bring back so many memories! There was something about his smile that would instantly make everyone around him smile… One of the many things I’ll always remember about Irrfan.”

It is not just Anil Kapoor who complimented Irrfan Khan’s infectious smile, many else from the Bollywood fraternity share similar thoughts. Even filmmaker Nikkhil Advani with whom Irrfan Khan shot the 2013 movie D-Day, recalled how his smile will forever be remembered. Post his demise, Nikkhil tweeted, “@irrfank I remember you asked me why I never said “ok” to your takes and I said I did not deserve to ever judge them. Devastated. Just gutted. You defined the way I look at cinema. Your smile is still imprinted every time I think of you. #RIP Sir. Prayers and condolences Sutapa.”

For the unversed, Anil Kapoor not only shared the screen space with Irrfan in the 2009 multiple-Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire but also in 2005 film Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets.

On the work front, Irrfan Khan was last seen in Angrezi Medium alongside Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Deepak Dobriyal.

Nonetheless, this film isn’t the last time we will see the late actor on the big screen, Irrfan will be next seen in an international venture titled, Mantra: The Songs Of The Scorpions. The release date of the project is not yet announced.
