Amitabh Bachchan Dismisses Rumors About Hospitalization, Calls It “FAKE NEWS”

Hours after the hospitalization reports went viral, Amitabh Bachchan was seen attending the final match of ISPL.

In the wake of reports indicating that Amitabh Bachchan had an angioplasty following a recent hospital stay, the veteran actor seems to have dismissed such assertions. A video circulating on social media captures Bachchan exiting the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. The final match of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata took place on Friday evening.

In the short video, upon his departure, a photographer inquired about his well-being. Initially, Amitabh gestured reassuringly with his hands. Then, leaning in, he stated, “Fake news.” With a smile and a nod, the actor proceeded to walk away. Amitabh was accompanied by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, at the match. The allegations suggested that the procedure was necessary due to either a leg clot or a blocked artery.

Amitabh Bachchan Hospitalisation Rumors

According to a report by ABP News on Friday, the actor visited the hospital due to experiencing shortness of breath, leading to his hospitalization and subsequent medical procedure. The Indian Express report indicated that doctors at Kokilaben Hospital verified that Amitabh Bachchan underwent angioplasty early on Friday.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is set to appear in the film “Kalki 2898 AD” alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Additionally, he has projects such as “Section 84” and the Hindi adaptation of “The Intern” lined up.
