Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has made headlines with the purchase of a property in Ayodhya, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This move comes just ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, scheduled for January 22 of this year.

The Mumbai-based developer, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), has not disclosed the exact size and value of the plot, but industry insiders estimate it to be around 10,000 sqft with a cost of ₹14.5 crore, as reported by Hindustan Times. Situated approximately 15 minutes away from the temple and half an hour from the airport, the development is anticipated to be completed by March 2028, featuring a five-star palace hotel.

Expressing his excitement about this venture, Mr. Bachchan said to Hindustan Times, “I am looking forward to embarking on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart.
