Fans of Akshay Kumar are eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming mythological film ‘Prithviraj’. The actor is playing the lead role in the much-awaited movie. Well, the movie is making headlines due to its controversies. Actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming next has landed up in many controversies. A day after Karni Sena demanded a title change for the film, Akshay’s upcoming next appeared in other controversies.
The Akhil Bharatiya Veer Gurjar Mahasabha has a problem with the way the 12th-century warrior king has been depicted in the film. According to the claims of the Akhil Bhartiya Veer Gurjar, Prithviraj was a Gurjar and not Rajput. He should be portrayed as a Gurjar instead of a Rajput or else the Mahasabha will not permit the release of the film.
Manish Bhargad, the Rajasthan state president of Mahasabha has also claimed that his organization had a meeting with the producer of the film last year. He said that during the meeting he brought the historic evidence over the issue to rectify the facts in his film. He further added saying that the producer had assured him of nothing against the community will be shown in the film.
According to the plead of Karni Sena, the community has demanded a change of the film title which will include the word, ‘Samrat’ before the name ‘Prithviraj’. They want ‘Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’ to be the title of the film. The organization also mentioned that if there is no change in the title then the release of the film will not be permitted.
The film will soon hit the theatres on 3rd June 2022.
