It’s been over 20 years when a young handsome boy swept away our hearts in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. He then made us drool in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Bang Bang, Dhoom 2 and War. He astonished us with his acting skills in Koi Mil Gaya, Super 30 and Agneepath. The Greek God has turned 48, but his charm has only increased with time. He is ageing like a fine wine and with each film, he just keeps going better. As we begin a new year, let’s check out what Hrithik Roshan has in store for us.

Upcoming films of Hrithik Roshan:

1- Fighter

A year ago, Hrithik announced an action film titled ‘Fighter’. It is touted to be India’s first aerial action franchise. Directed by Siddharth Anand, also starring Deepika Padukone, Fighter will pay homage to the valour of the armed forces. It will be one of the costliest films of Hindi cinema and aims to put Indian films on the map for action-loving global theatrical audiences.

2- Vikram Vedha

Everybody’s darling aces the role of an antagonist with as much charm as he carries while playing a hero. After Dhoom 2, Hrithik will be returning to a grey character in the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Vikram Vedha’. While the Tamil version starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, the Hindi version will see Hrithik as Vedha the gangster, against Saif Ali Khan playing Vikram who is a pragmatic cop.

3- War 2

Hrithik raised the hotness quotient in his 2019 action film ‘War’ also featuring Tiger Shroff. Men and women simply couldn’t take their eyes off him. And it would simply be a treat to watch his again in the sequel. In October 2021, Siddharth Anand announced the sequel to his blockbuster action thriller ‘War’. The 2019 film was made on a budget of about Rs 170 crore; so to make it bigger and better, the makers will be easily spending Rs 200 crore to make ‘War 2’.

4- Krrish 4

Hrithik will also return as a superhero with his Krrish franchise. After the success of Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish and Krrish 3, people have been waiting for the fourth instalment for a long time. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan is waiting for the pandemic to get over. He said, “The film that we are planning is huge. I don’t want it to get stuck. As it is, the business of films has been badly affected. So, I don’t want to jump into it.” He has already locked in the budget of a whopping Rs 250 crore.
