Akshay Kumar Extends Financial Aid Of Rs 1 Crore Each To Bihar & Assam CM Relief Fund

Actor Akshay Kumar is not only known for his fine acting skills but also for his helping nature. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Khiladi Kumar generously donated Rs 25 crore to the Prime Minister Care fund (PM CARES) to help the one adversely affected due to the health crisis. Now, Akshay has stepped forward a noble deed and he has once again have doubled the respect for their favourite star.

Akshay Kumar, who has currently resumed the shooting of his upcoming venture Bell Bottom in Scotland, has extended help to the flood ridden states of Bihar and Assam. The actor will be providing financial aid of Rs 1 crore each to Bihar and Assam Chief Minister Relief Fund (CM Relief Fund).

According to the reports, Akshay Kumar reportedly spoke to the Chief Minister of Bihar and Assam on Thursday, August 13, 2020. During the interaction, Akshay pledged to donate Rs 1 crore to help the victims of the devastating floods. Chief Ministers of both the states expressed their gratitude to the actor and appreciated his efforts to lend help.

For the unversed, earlier this week, Akshay Kumar ranked sixth in the Forbes Highest-Paid Actor list of 2020 in the world. The Kesari actor earns a whopping sum of Rs 362 crore.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next in Raghava Lawrence helmed film Laxmmi Bomb. The horror-comedy movie will be releasing digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. The trailer of the film will be unveiled on September 9, 2020.
