The Bachchan family is currently in news for an alleged family feud. It all started when Shweta Bachchan didn’t mention Aishwarya Rai in her Instagram post while celebrating her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda’s remarkable debut at the Paris Fashion Week. Interestingly, the same event saw Aishwarya gracing the ramp for L’Oréal. Adding fuel to the fire, Aishwarya reportedly cropped Shweta’s children, Navya and Agastya Nanda, out of a heartwarming family photo featuring the legendary Amitabh Bachchan embracing Aaradhya Bachchan. The edited version, shared on Amitabh’s 81st birthday, showcased solely Amitabh and Aaradhya, sparking rumours of complications between the family.
Amid all this, an old episode of Koffee With Karan has resurfaced, shedding light on Shweta’s candid revelations about her relationship with her accomplished sister-in-law, Aishwarya Rai. During the episode, host Karan Johar asked Shweta what she “loves, hates and tolerates” about Abhishek and Aishwarya.
Talking about Aishwarya, Shweta said, “She is a self-made, strong woman and a fantastic mother.”
She added that she “tolerates” Aishwarya’s “time management” and “hates” that the actress “takes forever to return calls and messages.”
Talking about Abhishek, she said, “I love that he is a very loyal and dedicated family man. Not just as a son but also as a husband.” She, added, “I hate that he thinks he knows it all.”
