With 22 Yr Age Gap, Aamir Khan To Romance THIS Actress In Sitaare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan is currently in the headlines as he announced his upcoming movie “Sitaare Zameen Par”. He told News18 India. “I am not only starring in this film, but also producing it. ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ takes the theme of ‘Taare Zameen Par’ to a whole new level. While the previous film made you shed tears, this one will undoubtedly make you burst into laughter. In ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ I assisted Darsheel’s character, but in this film, it will be a team effort with nine individuals, each dealing with their own unique challenges, assisting me.”

Though much details of the project are not out yet, but the name of the lead actress has already been revealed. As per the reports of Pinkvilla and News18, 58-year-old Aamir Khan will be seen romancing 36-year-old Genelia D’Souza. The 22 year age gap between both is surely raising eyebrows and will be a subject of discussion in the coming time.

Genelia Deshmukh collaborated with Aamir Khan 16 years ago for the film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa.” Aamir was the producer of the film while his nephew Imran Khan was seen playing Genelia’s love interest.

The Pinkvilla report quoted its source, “Aamir believes that Genelia perfectly embodies the character of a strong and independent woman, fitting the role like a hand in a glove. After thorough discussions with the director, Aamir finalized Genelia as the female lead. In the film, Genelia will not only play Aamir’s love interest but will also embark on a journey with the protagonist, assisting in the training of a team of specially-abled individuals.”

“Sitaare Zameen Par” is poised to mark Aamir Khan’s grand return to the silver screen following his last appearance in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ released in 2022. The film, which also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, served as the official remake of the acclaimed Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump.’
