Anushka Kaushik, known for her performances in Maharani S2, Ghar Waapsi, and Thar, has returned to captivate her audience with the web series Lust Stories 2. In a recent interview with Free Press Journal, the actress candidly discussed her experience of doing intimate scenes.
“At first, I had doubts, but when I signed on for Lust Stories 2, I wholeheartedly embraced the thoughts and ideas of my director. Once I became part of the narrative, I approached it with unwavering sincerity. My journey began with theater and YouTube, which led me to decline numerous projects involving intimate scenes. I often wondered if the audience would appreciate my choices. However, people have now come to understand the significance of those scenes and the stories they convey. These moments are not for mere sensationalism, but rather to serve the narrative. Therefore, I also had concerns about how they intended to portray me, especially considering the scarcity of dialogues. Nonetheless, everything was captured beautifully on camera,” the actress revealed.
Lust Stories 2 features leading actors such as Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Kajol, and others. Anushka also shared her thoughts on her chemistry with Kajol, saying, “During my school days, I used to dance to the songs of Kajol ma’am. It’s truly a dream come true for me to now share the screen with her. When we had our first reading session together, I was completely in awe of her. She displayed the utmost professionalism and showed great consideration for my ideas. She appreciated every aspect, and being in her presence was truly enjoyable.”
