Oo Antava actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has lately grabbed the attention due to her ill health. It was recently reported that the actress has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Myositis. Following the same, it is now believed that the actress has dropped her upcoming Bollywood project.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu who recently appeared in the film “Yashoda” was expected to make her Bollywood debut soon. However, owing to her health issues the actress will reportedly take a long break from her professional career. Confirming the same a source told IndiaToday.in that the Oo Antava actress will be taking a break from films to focus on her health and recuperate completely.
However, before taking a break the actress will be completing her upcoming film “Kushi” with Vijay Deverakonda. The report states that the film is 60% complete and the actress will wrap up the film and take a break after the same. Apart from Kushi, Samantha also signed up for a few Bollywood films. According to Telugu 360, the actress dropped her Hindi films since she didn’t want the films to be delayed due to her health.

During the promotion of her film, Yashoda, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about her ill health and said, “There are some good days and some bad days. Some days getting up from bed is very difficult. But some days I want to fight. Slowly, the days I want to fight are getting more and more than I want to give up.”
Following her health many reports speculated that the actress might die due to her disease, rubbishing the rumors Samantha said, “It’s been three months now. Also, I want to clarify one thing: I’m not dying anytime soon. I saw a lot of articles saying life-threatening things and I just want to clarify that I’m not dying anytime soon. Yes, it is autoimmune, it is taking time and it’s draining and tiring, but I’ve always been a fighter & I’m going to fight.”
