Recently rumors about Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s engagement were rife. Many reports and speculations claimed that the rumored couple will be getting hitched in February 2024. Finally putting an end to all the gossip, Vijay Devarkonda broke his silence on the matter and shared his reactions to the ongoing rumors about his alleged engagement.
Clearing the air, and putting an end to the gossip Vijay Deverakonda revealed to Lifestyle Asia that he is neither getting engaged nor getting married. The Liger actor said, “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumor every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married”.
On the other hand, reports revealed that the couple is planning on keeping a rather low-key relationship away from the prying eyes. Dismissing their engagement rumors, a source told Hindustan Times, “They (Rashmika and Vijay) are not at all planning to go public with their romance, or planning to take their relationship to the next level by exchanging rings”.
The source added, “They are very private people. They have not gone public with their romance till now, leaving behind some hints making people wonder about their bond. The claim about them going for a big revelation and then getting engagement is fake because that is so unlike their personalities.”
The source further revealed that the couple is currently “living together”, “They are living together, are happy and content with how their relationship is going, and don’t feel the need to get engaged at the moment. Also, they are focused on their work at the moment, so they are planning to get engaged anytime soon”.
