TilluSquareBoxOffice: Directed by Mallik Ram the highly anticipated sequel, Tillu Square, following Siddu Jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu, was finally released in the theatres on March 29. After its theatrical release, the Telugu film opened up to “positive reviews” and took a flying start at the box office. Reportedly, the film has now crossed the 40cr mark domestically and the 70cr mark globally at the box office.

As per Sacnilk.com, the Telugu comedy-romance, Tillu Square earned a whopping, ₹ 11.2 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. The film witnessed further growth during the weekend, it earned ₹ 10.25 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 11.1 Cr on Sunday.
The film witnessed a huge fall in numbers during the weekdays starting from Monday. The Telugu romantic comedy earned ₹ 6.25 Cr on Monday and approx. ₹ 4.50 Cr on Tuesday. Tillu Square now stands at a domestic total of ₹ 43.30 Cr. Meanwhile, the worldwide box office collection of the film stands at approx. ₹ 78 Cr. The film is all set to cross the 100 cr mark soon.

Talking about the film, Tillu Square serves as the follow-up to the 2022 movie “DJ Tillu”, with Siddu Jonnalagadda returning to his role, alongside other actors such as Muralidhar Goud, and Praneeth Reddy Kallem, reprising their respective roles from the original film.
Meanwhile, Anupama Parameswaran takes on the female lead. The storyline of Tillu Square tracks Tillu’s life as it takes an unexpected turn following a perplexing murder. Written by Siddu Jonnalagadda, Tillu Square is directed by Mallik Ram. The Telugu film, Tillu Square was released in theatres on 29 March 2024.
