Prashanth Neel’s much-anticipated Telugu action-thriller, “Salaar” was finally released in the theatres on 22 December. Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan the film received positive reviews from critics and netizens. After opening to positive reviews, Salaar has now become one of the “biggest openers” of the year 2023. The film registered a “massive box office opening” earning 95cr domestically and a whopping 175cr globally.

As per Sanilk, Prashanth Neel’s Telugu action-thriller, Salaar had a massive opening at the box office. Starring Prabhas the Telugu film registered a box office opening worth a whopping 95 crores in India. Not only this, but the film also crossed the 150cr mark with its worldwide box office opening collection which reportedly stands at a total of 175 crores.
After earning 95cr domestically and 175cr worldwide at the box office, Salaar has now become one of the biggest openers of 2023 leaving behind major blockbuster films like Animal (Rs 76 crore), Jawan (Rs 75 crore), Pathaan (Rs 7 crore), Gadar 2 (Rs 40.10 crore) and others.

Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel’s film, Salaar has also left behind Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Dunki. Salaar registered an opening of 95cr which is “three times higher” than Dunki’s box office opening collection i.e. 30cr.
