Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited upcoming film, Salaar will be facing a direct box office clash with Rajkumar Hirani’s highly anticipated film, Dunki. The two films have been making the headlines due to their box office clash. Following the same, Salaar actor Prithviraj Sukumaran recently broke his silence on the box office clash and shared his reaction.
Talking to ANI, Prithviraj Sukumran stated that he is excited about both his film, Salaar, and SRK’s film, Dunki. He revealed that he would be watching both films in the theatre. Sukumaran told ANI, “It’s a holiday season and we are all film lovers, we’re getting to see a Rajkumar Hirani- Shah Rukh Khan’s film and a Prashanth Neel-Prabhas film we all should be celebrating.”
He added, “I am so excited, I am going to watch both films first day. It’s a holiday season and film lovers have two great films to watch. What a fantastic sign-off for a grand 2023 it would be if both the films go on to become blockbusters which I am sure they both will. I am looking forward to it.”
Salaar Vs Dunki
Meanwhile, the buzz around both films is unmatched. Both Salaar and Dunki have been trending on social media days ahead of their release. The competition between Dunki and Salaar is getting tougher and fierce with days. Dunki will be released in theatres a day ahead of Salaar on 21 December, while Salaar will hit the theatres on 22 December.
About Salaar
Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023, and will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
