Popular Tamil and Telegu superstar Nayanthara has recently announced that she will be quitting acting to focus on her kids. If rumors are true, superstar Nayanthara will be retiring from acting and moving into production. The actress, who has been one of the biggest names in the Tamil and Telugu industry for over a decade, will make her Hindi debut this year with Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan. However, reports are now claiming that Jawan could be one of his last films on camera.

A report by Filmibeat claims that she will give up acting after Jawan to focus on his family. Nayanthara married filmmaker Vignesh Shivn last year after dating for several years. The couple welcomed twins Uyir and Ulagam via surrogacy at the end of the year. The report states that she wants to spend more time with children, which is why she decided to quit acting. However, the actress remains connected to the industry as a producer. However, the report has not yet been independently verified and neither she nor her representatives have commented on it.

Starring Nayanthara, Shah Rukh, and Vijay Sethupathi, Jawan was directed by Atlee. The film will be released in June 2023. After that, she has three more films in the pipeline, including Alphonse Puthren’s Paattu starring Fahadh Faasil. Another big project of hers is AK62, Ajith Kumar’s 62nd project managed by Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh.
