Before Ranbir, Animal Was Offered To THIS South Actor & Was Titled “Devil”

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal is a much-anticipated and highly awaited Bollywood action drama film. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor. The film created a huge buzz among the audience after its trailer was released. However, as per the reports it was revealed that before Ranbir, the film was initially offered to South actor Mahesh Babu, and instead of Animal the film was titled, “Devil”.

Animal Was Initially Offered to Mahesh Babu And Was Titled Devil

Before Ranbir Kapoor, Sandeep Reddy Vanga initially offered his film Animal to South superstar Mahesh Babu in 2019. The revelations were made during the recent promotional event in Hyderabad. Sandeep confirmed that he initially offered the film to Mahesh Babu.

As per Zoom, a source revealed that both Sandeep and Mahesh were interested in working together. The two met and director Sandeep narrated the film to Mahesh Babu. However, the South actor declined the offer stating that the subject of the film was too dark for his tastes and preferences.

Mahesh Babu asked Sandeep to come up with a brighter idea however, later Sandeep Reddy Vanga approached Ranbir Kapoor for the role who quickly agreed to take up the role. The actor was then joined by Bobby, Rashmika, and Anil Kapoor.

Before Rashmika Animal Was Offered to Parineeti Chopra

On the other hand, before Rashmika Mandanna, the female lead role was initially offered to Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra who refused to take up the offer since she already had a film with Imtiaz Ali. The actress also revealed in her interview that the character in the film wasn’t her taste.
