Tamil Actor Manisha Yadav Clarifies She Is Not Dead

After reports of TV actor Manisha Yadav dying due to brain hemorrhage surfaced online, Tamil actor with the same name cleared the confusion.

Actor and model Manisha Yadav, who mainly works in the Tamil film industry took to her social media and clarified that she is not dead. She pointed out that she is being confused with a TV actor, with the same name.

For the unaware, Television actor Manisha Yadav, who was known for playing Salima Begum in the Zee TV show Jodha Akbar, died on Friday. Reportedly, the cause of her death was a brain hemorrhage. The deceased actress is survived by her son, who is just one year old.

After this news surfaced in the media, a Tamil actor, who shares the same as the deceased actor was assumed to be dead.

Manisha then took to her Instagram and wrote, “It’s really unfortunate that a talented TV actress ‘Manisha Yadav’ is no more. But I am not that actor. By God’s grace, I am very much alive.”

She further added, “Please take this seriously guys. My parents got calls from friends and relatives, saying they got the sad news of my demise. My parents were in the condition of having a heart attack listening to this.”

Manisha is best known for her lead role as “Aarthi” in the 2012 Tamil film ‘Vazhakku Enn 18/9’ which first introduced her to the Tamil and Telugu audience as an actress. She was most recently seen in the Tamil film ‘Sandimuni’ which was released in 2020.
