Mani Ratnam’s directorial Ponniyin Selvan 1 is absolutely a much-awaited film of the year. The epic adaptation of Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan 1 by Kalki Krishnamurthy will release in theaters on 30th September. The stellar star cast of the movie will grace the popular celebrity talk show The Kapil Sharma show.

A grand press conference for the forthcoming Tamil movie has also been organized in Mumbai. A week ahead of the release of the Mumbai press conference will be conducted on 24th October 2022. The star cast including Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha will be present at the event. Along with them director Mani Ratnam, and music director AR Rahman will also attend the event.
Ponniyin Selvan despite being a period drama is a modern film as the issues it deals with are completely relatable. PS I is two parts film, the first chapter will release on September 30. The epic period action film is directed by Mani Ratnam who also co-wrote it with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan.
