Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif starring, “Merry Christmas” will release in the New Year on January 14. The director of the film Sriram Raghavan and actors, has been seen engaged in the interviews and promotions. The film has stretched the excitement of the audience as, for the first time, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing a screen with each other and this film will mark Katrina’s debut in the Tamil film industry. Recently, the Merry Christmas team was seen on the couch with Pinkvilla where co-actors shared their experience of meeting each other for the first time.
In that interview, Katrina said that people were not talking much to her on the set. When Varun Dhawan asked her about working with Sriram Raghavan, she answered saying it was amazing, but people didn’t talk to her much. And Varun Dhawan, who had already worked with Sriram Raghavan, told her that it might be because Sriram Sir had told them not to. Of course, the Tiger 3 actress wasn’t sure whether it was true, and she was questioning herself.
But at that moment, her co-star Vijay Sethupati sorted out all the misunderstandings. He said, “No, no, it was not like that. I am afraid of you, that is why I didn’t… No, I am new to this industry and I don’t know. She is well experienced, and she is a big star here.”
Katrina also praised Vijay. She said that he is very philosophical and wise. This National Film Award winning actor seems like a calm person.
