Directed by I. Ahmed and produced by Sudhan Sundaram and G. Jayaram under Passion Studios, Iraivan is an upcoming Tamil psychological action thriller film announced in March 2022. The film was earlier slated to release in August however it is now expected to hit the theatres on 28th September. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

Iraivan is an upcoming, Tamil psychological action thriller film that will feature Ponniyin Selvan actor, Jayam Ravi, and Jawan actress Nayanthara in the lead roles. Apart from them the film will also feature Rahul Bose as the main antagonist and has Ashish Vidyarthi, Narain, Charle, Azhagam Perumal, and more in significant roles. The film will mark the second collaboration of Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara after their film, “Jana Gana Mana”.

Nayanthara is expected to play the role of the cop (Jayam Ravi’s wife). The film has been rated with an “A” certificate.
Iraivan OTT Release
As per the reports, the digital rights of the film have been given to streaming giant Netflix. The film will expectedly be released on the OTT giant after 1 month of its theatrical release. The official announcement is yet to be made.
