Ravindra Mahajani Found Dead In Pune: Marathi veteran actor and director Ravindra Mahajani was found dead at his rented apartment in Pune on Friday. His mortal remains were recovered from a flat in Pune’s Talegaon Dabhade locality after neighbours complained of a ‘foul smell’ coming from the flat.
For those who don’t know, he is the father of television actor Gashmeer Mahajani, who ruled the hearts of people after his sting in the Imlie show and the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.
According to the police, the 74-year-old actor lived alone in his Pune flat until his unfortunate death.
According to sources, Mahajani, who had lived in Mumbai, had spent the previous eight months renting a flat at the Xrbia complex in Ambi, Talegaon Dabhade.
On Friday, Mahajani’s neighbours began to complain about a foul smell coming from the flat. When they received no answer from within, they decided to phone the police at approximately 4:30 p.m.
When a team from Talegaon MIDC police station arrived at the scene, they broke the door of the house, to enter and discovered Mahajani’s body inside.
If reports are to be believed, Mahajani may have died two to three days before his body was found.
Mahajani’s terrible passing has been reported to his family, and his lifeless remains have now been brought to the hospital for a postmortem to determine the precise cause of death.
