King Of Kotha Box Office Collection Day 2: Dulquer Salmaan Starrer Sees A Dip

Directed by Abhilash Joshiy King of Kotha is a Malayalam action thriller film featuring an ensemble cast including actor Dulquer Salmaan alongside actress Aishwarya Lekshmi and others. The film was released in theatres on 24 August and opened up with a decent start at the box office, however as per the latest trade reports, the film saw a significant dip in the numbers at the box office on its 2nd day.

Released on 24th August Dulquer Salmaan starrer Malayalam action thriller film “King Of Kotha” opened up to positive reviews from the audience and netizens. The film started off with a decent opening at the box office earning approx. ₹7.70 crore on its opening day. King Of Kotha gave a tough competition to Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which collected 8.20cr on Thursday in India, while Rajinikanth’s Jailer made approx. 3.25cr on its 15th day.

However, the film witnessed a huge dip on its second day at the box office. As per a report of Sacnilk.com, the film earned around ₹ 2.00 Cr on Friday and now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 8.50cr. Made on a budget of 50cr the film is expected to see growth during the weekend. Prior to the release, King Of Kotha recorded impressive advance booking sales in Kerala and UAE.

The film stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role alongside Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gokul Suresh, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Saran Shakthi, Chemban Vinod Jose, Anikha Surendran and Shammi Thilakan in key roles.
