Aadujeevitham-The Goat Life Box Office Collection Day 1: Film Takes A Flying Start

Malayalam survival drama, “Aadujeevitham,” aka “The Goat Life,” registered a solid opening at the box office.

Directed and co-produced by Blessly, “Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life” made its theatrical debut on March 28, 2024. The Malayalam film, inspired by a true story, stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. After its theatrical release, the film opened up to extremely positive reviews from moviegoers and critics. Following the good response from the public, the film made a flying start at the box office.

“The Goat Life,” aka “Aadujeevitham” in Malayalam, draws its inspiration from a real-life event and is a cinematic interpretation of the Malayalam novel “Aadujeevitham.” Portraying the character of a Malayali immigrant laborer ensnared in servitude as a goatherd on a remote farm in Saudi Arabia, Prithviraj Sukumaran delivers a compelling performance.

As per Sacnilk.com, the film earned a solid ₹ 7.45 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. The Malayalam film is expected to see further growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday). However, the film can also face box office competition with the Bollywood film, “Crew” and Telugu film, “Tillu Square” which will be released in theatres on 29 March.

About Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life

Directed by Blessy the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role alongside, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Shobha Mohan, and others. Based on the bestselling novel by Benyamin, the movie tells the tale of a young man from Kerala who relocates to Saudi Arabia in search of better prospects. However, his aspirations are shattered when he is coerced into slavery. The film delves into Najeeb’s journey of adversity, including a brush with death, and his eventual redemption.
