Rishab Shetty might be the rising star of the industry now, however, the actor and director has been associated with the industry since 2006. Rishab was earlier known by his name Prashant Shetty. Rishab did a diploma in cinema direction from Bangalore’s Government Film and TV Institute.
He later worked with A. M. R. Ramesh in his 2006 released film Cyanide. He later worked for a TV Show, before making his acting debut with the 2012 film Thuglak which also starred Rakshit Shetty. He again collaborated with Rakshit Shetty in 2014 with the film Ulidavaru Kandante, in which Rishab played a pivotal role.

Both Rishab Shetty and Rakshit Shetty share a close friendship. Many reports even rumored that both the actors were brothers however the two are only good friends. The two met when Rishab was working as an assistant director for a television drama. The duo later collaborated in 2014 for their film Ulidavaru Kandante. Rishab later collaborated with Rakshit in 2016 for the film Kirik Party which might also get a remake in Hindi.
