Pathaan Week 1 Collection: Becomes Fastest Hindi Film To Cross Rs 300 Crore Mark

Pathaan Box Office Collection Week 1: Pathaan has completed 1 week at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan was released in theatres on 25 Jan. The film got an advantage of the long weekend along with the hype around SRK’s comeback to the big screen after 4 years of hiatus. The film grossed Rs 600 crore in 6 days at the global box office. And now, even in the weekdays, the film is going strong.

Pathaan Collection in India: The footfalls saw a drop on Monday and Tuesday, but the film managed to enter 300 crore club domestically within a week of its release. Pathaan minted Rs 21 crore nett on Tuesday in India, which is quite impressive as many films to achieve these numbers even on weekend.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film has now become the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 300 crore mark after Baahubali 2‘s Hindi version, which took 10 days to enter the ₹300 crore club.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Pathaan earned Rs 300 cr in 7 days, while Baahubali 2 Hindi version reached that mark in 10 days. Last year’s blockbuster film KGF 2 Hindi version took 11 days to earn Rs 300 cr , followed by Aamir Khan’s Dangal that took 13 days. Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju and Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai entered 300 cr club in 16 days of their releases.

Pathaan also had the biggest-ever opening for an Indian film at the UK box office by recording £319,00. It surpassed Sultan’s £271,000 collection.
