Rumours about trouble in the marriage of Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have started circulating online after fans noticed changes in their recent Instagram activity. Social media users have recently pointed out that the couple no longer appears on each other’s following lists and can found nowhere, leading to new speculation about their relationship.
Many fans have also noticed that Mouni has not shared any recent pictures with Suraj for quite some time. This quickly became a topic of discussion online with users wondering whether everything is fine between the two.
As these recent activities’ screenshots and discussions went on to spread across platforms, fans began reacting emotionally to the situation. Some users expressed concern while others directly questioned whether the couple is heading for separation.
One user commented, “Please don’t let us hear that you two are getting a divorce.” Another asked, “Why did you delete your wedding photos? Divorce soon?”
However, despite the rumours several older pictures of the couple still remain visible on both profiles and neither Mouni nor Suraj has publicly reacted to the speculation so far.
Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar got married in Goa in January 2022 after dating for around three years. The couple first met in Dubai during New Year celebrations in 2019. Their wedding included both Bengali and Malayali traditions and was attended by close friends and family members.
On the work front, Mouni will next be seen in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai alongside Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. The film is directed by David Dhawan and is scheduled to release on June 5.

Daadi Ki Shaadi Movie Review:
It’s a strange family.
Granddaughter Kannu (Sadia Khateeb) is in the midst of her roka with Tony Kalra (Kapil Sharma) who’d yearned for her from a distance in their college days. Maybe that’s where the comedy lies – that 45-year-old Kapil and 28-year-old Sadia went to college at the same time.
Overlook that amusing part of their crackle-less relationship as chaos descends.
Kannu’s dadi Vimla (Neetu Kapoor) has posted on social media that she’s getting married.
Fiancé-to-be Tony and his big joint Kalra family won’t stand for such a scandal.
As for the Ahujas, they gang up to visit dadi in Shimla to stop her from becoming the family embarrassment. Don’t wait and ask why none of Kannu’s close relatives, dadi included, knew that she was getting officially betrothed.
Early in the film, writer-director Ashish R. Mohan and his writing team of Bunty Rathore and Saahil S Sharma, reveal that dadi’s social media post was an auto-correct muff-up, she’s not getting married. But wait. She and her cackle of Shimla friends carry on the charade if that means getting the family together for a while.
Okay? Not okay. Col Theeran Devrajan (R. Sarath Kumar from the south industry) strides in as the new daddy to Vimla’s three grownup kids with spouses like Romal (Tejaswini Kolhapure) that are either cribbing all the time or missing in action like Sunaina’s (Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s) mystery husband. In that strange setup, dadi’s daughter Sunaina doesn’t even rate a mention by anybody until she suddenly turns up.
Tony’s part in the Ahuja family non-drama is to mess it up further. Without evoking even a smile from the viewer.
At the core of the mess is a message that an ageing single parent is lonely and that families must make time for them. But what a circuitous route to take to make that one point which Hindi cinema has made time and again, even long before Ravi Chopra’s Baghban did it effectively in 2003.
It would’ve been so much more original if the messaging was that a dadi too is entitled to move on and find happiness for herself. But alas.
During a squabble over the dining table that’s supposed to show how each offspring has kept account of the financial contribution he/she has made to dadi’s life, it is unwittingly revealed that the family has indeed taken care of her all along. Except for the eternal grouse of time spent with dadi.
Whatever Ashish Mohan meant to convey gets lost in his tiresome storytelling with dadi wearing one hurt expression all through and a series of flashbacks to bring on wistful sighs.
Briefly, you also wonder why a well-preserved dadi who can sing, dance and prance around, can’t busy herself with a life that’s a bit more positive than self-pitying loneliness. With room for music that could range from peppy to painful, composer Gulraj Singh doesn’t rise to the occasion by striking a single memorable note.
Kapil Sharma was never hero material. Neetu Kapoor who has sparkled in the past is a shadow of the actress she once was. Riddhima’s debut is as brief and as bland as that of a scheming sister-in-law in an Ektaa Kapoor serial.
Daadi Ki Shaadi –Watch Or Not?: Wait for it to stream on an OTT platform.

Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)Movie Review:
A spate of animation films on Ganesha, Hanuman and Narasimha have intermittently caught the fancy of the Indian audience.
Here comes a film with real actors slipping into the roles of Lord Krishna, the three prominent women in his life, Radha, Rukmini and Satyabhama, and a sprinkling of family members.
One of the biggest runaway successes at the plush Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in 2024, was the spectacular musical Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela, dancing and singing with Lord Krishna from Vrindavan to Dwarka. It was scripted by Raam Mori.
Retaining the colours and the playful ambience of the play, Ram Mori joins hands with writer-director Hardik Gajjar and co-writer Prakash Kapadia to tell more stories about Lord Krishna (Siddharth Gupta), this time on the big screen.
It starts off like an endless musical that isn’t going anywhere important. But after the hour of songs and dances settles down, Gajjar begins to unravel the reasons behind the Lord’s seemingly debatable moves.
For instance, most logical and progressive minds would wonder about the relevance, or indeed the ethics, of putting on a pedestal his romance with Radha (Sushmitha Bhatt), the love of his life, when Krishna had virtuous wife Rukmini (Nivaashiyni Krishnan) in his life. Or how Satyabhama (Sanskruti Jayana) fit into this already questionable triangle. That and more and is unspooled in this instalment that lingers on the heart (hridayam).
Taking off with Jackie Shroff’s well-recognised voice before the actor himself appears in wisdom-spouting guru attire, there’s a good attempt at explaining mysteries of Lord Krishna’s actions that sometimes seem like antics.
You come out of the 2.5 hours experience feeling a bit more enriched about Lord Krishna than when you went in.
However, the writer-director takes far too much for granted. Not every viewer walking in is equipped with knowledge about Satyabhama’s father’s ire against Krishna and why he did what he did to him. There is a lot of straightforward telling that was required to impart the correct background and story of all that happened to Lord Krishna which Gajjar misses. It leaves the viewer with questions unanswered.
Similarly, considering the scale of music in the film, it’s astonishing that much like the Ambani play, composer Prashant Sashte does not leave you with even one memorable melody to hum or take home. Remember English plays like Jesus Christ Superstar or Eva? To this day, we sing their numbers.
Maybe for the next instalment, the makers will write a more comprehensible narrative that explains every action and provides background for a much larger audience to grasp the full meaning of the Krishna Avataram.
And please, a musical should give you an album you can keep hearing and humming.
Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)– Watch Or Not?: Catch a screening. It does give more insights into Krishna than other works have so far provided the viewer.

With Ek Din finally introducing South queen Sai Pallavi to Hindi cinema, the actress recently made a surprising confession about doubting herself during the film. In a candid interaction, Sai Pallavi became part of an emotional conversation where the actress admitted she initially felt she was “miscast” for the role as Meera, even though Junaid Khan and Aamir Khan strongly disagreed with her.
The actress appeared alongside Junaid Khan in an interview shared on the Aamir Khan Talkies YouTube channel , where both stars opened up about the making of the romantic drama. Directed by Sunil Pandey, the film stars Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi in lead roles and released on May 1, 2026.
Why Sai Pallavi Said Yes To The Film‘Ek Din’
During the conversation, Junaid revealed that he initially thought Sai might reject the film because she had already worked in several big South Indian projects. But Sai explained that it was never about the scale of the film for her.
She shared, “It is not about the scale of a film that drives me. At that point of time in my life, I had done a lot of films which were heavy and I wanted to do something that was light… that did not have me carry a lot of trauma through the making and even after.”
Sai also revealed that the script reminded her of the Hollywood classic Before Sunrise. “Because I like Before Sunrise and I thought this is going to be like that,” she added.
“I Thought I Was A Miscast”
However, Sai later admitted that she constantly questioned whether she truly fit the character and she once again became a talking point when she recalled her reaction after watching the film with Aamir Khan.
“I was very scared, because I think I’m extra serious when it comes to a few scenes which should’ve been done a little more easy and I thought I was a miscast,” she said.
Junaid immediately interrupted her and replied, “You’re absolutely wrong!”
Sai further recalled Aamir Khan’s reaction after the screening. “When I watched the movie with Aamir sir, I was just quiet for a while and he kept looking at me and said, ‘Say something.’ And I said, ‘I don’t think I was meant to do this, I think I’m a miscast,’ and he’s like, ‘What are you saying!’”
Explaining why she felt that way, Sai said, “I think it should’ve been a new person who had little bit of flamboyance. I think someone else was meant to do this film.”
Junaid Khan Couldn’t Stop Praising Her
Junaid, however, completely disagreed with her thoughts. He even revealed that he and Aamir Khan were on the same page about her performance. “Not a chance, I fight with papa all the time for everything but over here I agree with him,” he said. He further praised her acting and added, “When I saw the film for checking subtitles without background music and sound, only dialogue track and you were just spectacular!”
Sai Pallavi’s honesty about self-doubt has once again shown why audiences connect with her so deeply. Even after years of success, the actress openly spoke about her fears and insecurities. But going by Junaid Khan and Aamir Khan’s reactions, it seems the makers always believed she was the perfect choice for the role.
The script controversy around Dhurandhar: The Revenge has now taken a calm turn. The Bombay High Court has disposed of the defamation suit filed by filmmaker Aditya Dhar after director Santosh Kumar tendered an apology for his earlier statements.
The case was closed on April 30 by Justice Arif Doctor, bringing temporary relief to both sides.
The issue began when Santosh Kumar held a press conference and claimed that the film’s script was “copied” from his original work titled D Saheb. He said the script had been registered with the Screenwriters Association in 2023 and alleged that it was used without permission.
Following these claims Aditya Dhar approached the court stating that such remarks were defamatory and harmful to his reputation.
While closing the matter, the court recorded, “Mr. Bhura, the counsel appearing on behalf of Santosh Kumar (who is present in Court) has tendered an apology for the statements made in the press meeting held on March 30, 2026.”
It further noted, “Dr. Saraf… submits that, in light of the apology tendered, his client does not wish to precipitate the Suit for damages… nothing further survives in the Suit and the same is accordingly disposed of.”
However, the court also made it clear that Kumar can still pursue legal action if he wants to claim rights over the script.
In earlier hearings, the court had asked both sides to settle the issue without escalating it further. Initially, Kumar’s side did not offer an apology but later he agreed and assured that no more defamatory comments would be made.
For now, the legal battle has paused with an apology. But the door remains open if Santosh Kumar decides to take further action regarding his claims.

The recently released roaring trailer of Raja Shivaji, starring and directed by Riteish Deshmukh has created strong reactions online. While many praised its epic scale and vision, the other section of viewers questioned its historical accuracy, while especially pointing out a scene where it involves the use of the Wagh Nakh.
One X (formerly Twitter) user raised concerns, asking, “Did Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj show the ‘Wagh Nakh’ to Afzal Khan?” The user claimed that historically, the weapon was hidden and used only after an attack. They further questioned, “WHY IS @RITEISHD MANIPULATING & INSULTING CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ’S & MAHARASHTRA’S HISTORY, LEGACY & PRIDE???”
Soon to react, the actor-director Riteish chose not to react but respond calmly. Quoting the post, he wrote, “Respected Sir, pls do watch the film on 1st May.. the answer to your question is there in the movie. I hope you enjoy the film with your friends and family. Jai Shivrai.”
However, the user remained was seen still unconvinced and went on to reply replied, “So the truth is ‘inside the film’? ‘Watch the film for answers’ is fine for fiction, not history.”
Respected Sir, pls do watch the film on 1st May.. the answer to your question is there in the movie. I hope you enjoy the film with your friends and family. Jai Shivrai 🙏🏽 https://t.co/RyzDUnpl4x
Soon, fans joined the discussion in the comments. Some suggested that the scene might be shown after the attack. Others urged patience, with one comment saying, “Pehle dekh toh lo bhai… Itna toh usne research kari hi hogi.”
Another user added a simple take, “It’s a movie, take it as a movie. If you like it, watch it.”
Raja Shivaji is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film features a strong cast including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar and Genelia Deshmukh. It is set to release in theatres on May 1 in Marathi and Hindi.
Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace is already among the most anticipated films. The teaser itself offered a glimpse into Salman’s look and striking transformation, which is powerful and raw. The film will see him in large-scale action sequences and intense combat scenes, which audiences are eagerly looking forward to. During the film’s shoot, Salman underwent extensive preparation, including high-intensity fitness training, with portions of his conditioning reportedly shaped in demanding high-altitude environments in Ladakh during the shoot.
A source close to the production revealed, “Salman Khan underwent a remarkable physical transformation for the film. He trained at extremely high altitudes in Ladakh, combining intense endurance drills with heavy weight sessions. It was easily one of the most grueling fitness regimens he took on in recent years, reflecting a completely new level of commitment to the role. What makes this even more incredible is that Salman pushed through all of this despite dealing with multiple injuries. To train with such intensity, discipline, and passion under those conditions… honestly, it’s something only Salman Khan can pull off,” revealed the source.
Produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, with Apoorva Lakhia directing, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace promises an unflinching portrayal of bravery, sacrifice, and resilience. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role.
After a strong run in theatres, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is now gearing up for its digital release. The Ranveer Singh starrer has kept audiences hooked for weeks and naturally the next big question is – when and where can you watch it online?
Reports suggest the film will stream on JioHotstar, likely between late May and early June 2026. While there is no official confirmation yet, the buzz around its OTT premiere is already building.
The OTT rights of the film have reportedly been sold for around ₹150 crore. This makes it one of the biggest digital deals for a Hindi film in recent times. Interestingly this also marks a shift from the first part which was released on Netflix.
The makers seem to be carefully timing the OTT release, mainly because the film is still performing well in cinemas. Holding back the digital premiere allows them to maximise its theatrical earnings.
The film’s box office performance has played a big role in this delay. It has crossed ₹1000 crore net in India and continues to draw audiences. Globally too, it has achieved impressive numbers, placing it among the top Indian films.
Fans who missed watching it in theatres and those who want to revisit the story, are now eagerly waiting for its OTT arrival.
The sequel follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, played by Ranveer Singh, as he steps deeper into the underworld. Now known as Hamza Ali Mazari, his journey becomes more intense as he takes on powerful criminal networks.
With strong box office numbers and a high-value OTT deal, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is clearly not slowing down. Now all eyes are on its digital release date.
Many actors have impressed audiences in this roaring ensemble film, but one name that stood out despite limited screen time is Mashhoor Amrohi. In Dhurandhar: The Revenge, he portrayed the role of Nawab Shafiq, a character which is inspired by former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. His extreme striking resemblance and performance surprised viewers. Alongside him, Ranveer Singh received praise for his roles as Hamza and Jaskirat Singh Rangi, making the collaboration between Mashhoor Amrohi and Ranveer Singh even more talked about.
In an exclusive interview with Lehren, Mashhoor Amrohi shared insights about his experience working on Aditya Dhar’s directorial. When asked if Ranveer Singh is a secure actor, he responded without hesitation, “Supremely! Extremely secure.” His answer was clear and direct, reflecting genuine admiration rather than a practised response.
Talking about their bond, he said, “I’ve known him as my younger brother Bilal’s friend and classmate. He (Ranveer) and I share a fantastic rapport of respect, love, hugs and warmth as well. But never had the opportunity to work with him. This was my first experience, wonderful!” The comfort between Mashhoor Amrohi and Ranveer Singh was evident even before they shared screen space this year.
He further clarified, “I’m not just saying that it’s the politically correct thing to say… no, it’s not that. He’s genuinely a very secure person.” He stressed that his words came from real experience, not industry pressure.
Sharing an on-set moment, he added, “I don’t need to say it myself, the actions are there to validate it. In one sequence, I was asked to have just one tap on his shoulder, but I went a bit extra because that’s the body language I chose for Nawab Shafiq. As soon as we cut, he said, ‘bro, that was good!’” That moment, he explained, built confidence and comfort.
He continued, “You suddenly realize, ‘Ok, I’m in a comfortable environment, no feathers are being ruffled over here.’ We’re all working towards the same goal — for the betterment of the film. If one character looks off, the whole scene looks off.”
Mashhoor Amrohi’s experience reflects how mutual respect and support between actors can shape a film’s outcome. His honest words offer a refreshing look at teamwork in the industry and why comfort on set truly matters.
