Reports suggest the film will stream on JioHotstar, likely between late May and early June 2026. While there is no official confirmation yet, the buzz around its OTT premiere is already building.
The OTT rights of the film have reportedly been sold for around ₹150 crore. This makes it one of the biggest digital deals for a Hindi film in recent times. Interestingly this also marks a shift from the first part which was released on Netflix.
The makers seem to be carefully timing the OTT release, mainly because the film is still performing well in cinemas. Holding back the digital premiere allows them to maximise its theatrical earnings.
The film’s box office performance has played a big role in this delay. It has crossed ₹1000 crore net in India and continues to draw audiences. Globally too, it has achieved impressive numbers, placing it among the top Indian films.
