Each of the IPL franchise is drilling hard in their pre-season practise sessions. The players are warming themselves up to play the much-awaited tournament after almost 4 months of break. Apart from the hard-core net sessions, the players are also having gala time taking part in fun challenges. The RCB bowlers amaze Virat Kohli during one such fun bowling session.

The bowling coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowling coach Adam Griffith came up with a fun session for his bowlers.

Both the spinners and seamers were urged to bowl yorkers at will. Each of the bowlers was given 10 balls each. They were then asked to bowl to gain one, three, and five points according to the targets they hit.

The video of this session was shared on the official social media handles of RCB. The caption read, “Our bowling coach, Adam Griffith, comes up with a fun and challenging competition to help our bowlers fire in those yorkers. Safe to say all our bowlers are sharpshooters!”.

This activity not only did improve bowler’s accuracy but also helped the players bond with each other. Skipper Virat Kohli indeed didn’t participate in the session but stayed on the sides motivating his bowlers.

The RCB bowlers amaze Virat Kohli with their bowling as they can be seen giving their all to win the challenge.

In the video, we can see RCB’s bowling unit- Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Isuru Udana, Washington Sundar, Umesh Yadav giving their best to win the challenge and improve their accuracy.

The activity made the atmosphere light as the skipper can be seen dancing, and hugging his players in the middle of the pitch.

A while back, Virat Kohli said he feels this year’s IPL team is more balanced since 2016. Kohli also mentioned that everyone in the team is excited to kick-start the season.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) will begin on September 19, 2020, in the UAE.
