Tejashwi Yadav Retorts Back At The PM For His Jungle Raj Ka Yuvraj Jibe

The Prime Minister in his recent rally had directly attacked Tejashwi Yadav and called him ‘Jungle Raj Ka Yuvraj’.

Tejashwi Yadav retorts back to the Prime Minister for calling him Jungle Raj Ka Yuvraj. According to Yadav, Prime Minister Modi is at such a high post, if he was gonna speak at a rally he should have focused on more important issues rather than personal jabs.

“He is the country’s Prime Minister, he can say anything, I don’t want to react to that. But he came to Bihar, he could have spoken about a special package, unemployment, more important issues,” Tejashwi Yadav told reporters.

He further added that “It is the world’s biggest party (BJP), they are using 30 helicopters…if their PM talks like this, the public knows everything. But he should have spoken on issues like poverty, factories, farmers, unemployment…”

The 31 year old is the prime competition for the Chief Minister’s post to BJP backed Nitish Kumar. The BJP has come into alliance with Nitish Kumar’s party and the NDA is backing Kumar fully for another term.

A Little Background

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his rally in the Muzaffarpur directly hit out at the young RDJ leader. Son of Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav has been drawing record crowds for his rallies these days.

This direct hit by the Prime Minister was seen as BJP’s growing nervousness about the election. What seemed to be a landslide win, is now being battled by the grips.

PM Modi had called the 15 year rule of Lalu Yadav to be jungle raj. Lalu’s political foes called his stint as the Chief Minister to be full of corruption and unlawful stunts.

Modi also went ahead and called the period of Lalu Yadav’s rule to be dark time in Bihar history.

“People of Bihar do not keep any expectations from the “Yuvraj Of Jungle Raj” (Crown prince of the jungle raj) owing to their previous track record,” PM Modi said. “He ought to be evaluated on the basis of a track record about which the people know much better than I do,” added the Prime Minister.

“Forget about jobs in the public sector. Even private companies giving jobs will flee,” PM Modi said, countering Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of 10 lakh government jobs

“Companies will shut down their offices and run away. Extortion calls will be made by those patronised by the party which has a copyright over kidnappings,” PM Modi said, referring to the allegations of lawlessness during Lalu Yadav’s rule.

Tejaswi Yadav to his credit has been trying to distance himself from his father’s political stance and corruption charges.
