Kanye West’s legal troubles have intensified as his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta has filed an amended complaint accusing the rapper of sexual battery, sex trafficking and harassment. The complaint submitted In Los Angeles County Superior Court, adds to a prior lawsuit filed in June 2024 that had already alleged wrongful termination and sexual harassment.
Lauren, who worked with Kanye West from 2021 to 2023 during the production of his Donda album and later as his personal assistant, and claims that she was been assaulted multiple times and manipulated with false promises of career growth.
The updated complaint outlines incidents where West allegedly orally raped her without consent and forced her to watch him engage in sexual acts with other women. It states that he made “fraudulent promises of career advancement” to pressure her into sexual situations and offered her to others in exchanged for favours. Lauren’s legal team argues these actions fall under sex trafficking laws.
She also alleges West pressured her to wear revealing clothes, sent her explicit photos and made repeated demands for her to join his sexual activities. When she refused to do so, she was fired in 2023. Afterwards she claims Kanye West moved into her apartment complex and continued harassing her including grabbing her by the throat and making false emergency reports to authorities, a practice known as “swatting”.
Kanye West’s representatives have denied the claims, calling them “baseless” and stating that Pisciotta is attempting to blackmail and extort him. They also claim she previously sent him unsolicited explicit images and made unreasonable demands. No comment has been issued yet regarding the most recent complaint. Pisciotta is now seeking a jury trial and financial damages.
