Speaking candidly, Zendaya has discussed about her parents’ hilarious reaction to her steamy moments with Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor in the upcoming film Challengers. Her parents have in turn seen their daughter’s upcoming highly anticipated movie, Challengers. Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist co-star in the film and judging by the teaser, the three of them have a lot of hot and cosy moments together. Zendaya revealed in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that her parents were aware of the concept and thought it was “hilarious.”
“It was hilarious. Yeah, I thought it was hilarious. They’ve all seen Euphoria, you know, so it’s not like our first rodeo or anything. It was funny cause, you know, obviously I’ve seen the movie many times so I know what’s coming, and they were all sitting behind me, and I got to, like, watch them watch and slowly just be like, ‘Oh god.’ It’s still enough to not want to watch with your aunt.” she added.
For the unversed, Challengers is an American romantic sports genre movie written and directed by Justin Kuritzkes and Luca Guadagnino. The story revolves around Art Donaldson (Mike Faist), a professional tennis champion, who attempts to make a comeback with the assistance of his wife, Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), a previous tennis prodigy who retired due to an injury. He competes against Patrick Zweig (Josh O’Connor), a player who also happens to be his former best friend and the ex-lover of his wife. The cinematic sports piece is set to hit the silver screens on April 26th, 2024.
