Bollywood Bhaijaan, Salman has been entertaining us for many decades. He has given many such movies which have made a place in our hearts and one of them is Maine Pyar Kiya, which was his first movie. His opposite female actress was Bhagyashree. Since then both are very good friends of each other and sometimes we still see them together. Many times we have seen both of them talking good things about each other. In a previous interview, Bhagyashree told one thing about Salman Khan he never wanted a nice woman to fall in love with him.
Bhagyashree opens up about how she bonded with Salman while shooting for their 1989 film Maine Pyar Kiya. She revealed that one statement of his has always remained with her and has been true to date. He expressed to her that he can’t stick to one person for a long time. The actor reveals why he never allows anyone to come close to him.
Hindustan Times quoted, “At that period of time as we got to know each other he made one statement which I think rings true. He said that, ‘You know what? I don’t want nice girls to fall in love with me’. So I said, ‘Why would you want to say that?’ He said, ‘Because I don’t think I am a nice guy. I don’t think I can stick with one person for a long time. I get bored very easily and till I get this under control, I would want people to stay away. So I don’t allow them to come close to me.”
She further revealed, “And like he has been protective about his family, I think he is also extremely protective about his women so I guess that sparks off possessiveness to another level which women today don’t like.”
Talking about the iconic movie, Maine Pyar Kiya once took the box office by storm with the highest-grossing movie of that time, directed by Sooraj Barjatya under Rajshri productions.
