The third edition of the Don series has been eagerly anticipated for more than ten years by fans of Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan. After a 12-year wait, Don 2 was finally released in 2011, and director Farhan Akhtar has consistently indicated that they are still working on it.
The project is currently at the screenplay stage, according to Farhan’s Excel Entertainment production partner, Ritesh Sidhwani, who also confirmed that they are certainly working on Don 3. According to Ritesh Sidhwani, he is currently unaware of the plot details of the much-awaited movie.
He stated that they won’t do anything until his partner (Farhan Akhtar) finishes writing it. He’s working on finishing the script right now. Each of us eagerly anticipates seeing Don’s third part.
In 2006, this Amitabh Bachchan-starring remake of the 1978 movie was released. The success of Don led to the 2011 release of its much-awaited sequel, Don 2: The King Is Back. The captivating story of Don continued in the movie, which went deeper into his underworld of crime and deceit.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the big-budget action comedy “Jawan,” which is set to hit theatres on September 7, 2023. In addition to Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sunil Grover, and Sanya Malhotra, “Jawan” was directed by Atlee Kumar.
