At the launch of the footwear, Kareena told News18.com that some characters should be cherished for who they are and left alone; one such character is Poo. She even argued that no one could take over her role. Never, the 42-year-old actress was reported as saying. Poo was, as you mentioned, a genuinely iconic figure. Some characters must be cherished for who they are and left alone. Nobody should play poo on it, and I don’t think it should be handled.
When she asked which of her iconic outfits she should bring back, she chose Poo’s Bole Chudiya ensemble. The Laal Singh Chaddha actress said, “I think it would be the iconic Bole Chudiya ghagra. Manish had done a spectacular job, and even today, 23 years later, people adore it, they love the colour, and the colour is gorgeous. The work done on it for that time was so ahead of its time and I believe it’s going to be a part of the collection at the (Jio) Convention Centre as well. It is one of the iconic pieces that will be (displayed) there, (with regard to) style and fashion.”
