After the box office success of Bhool Bhualiyaa 2 makers decided to come back with the third installment of the film. Previously it was already announced that the 3rd installment will be headed by Kartik Aaryan again. However, to fans’ surprise, Bhool Bhulaiyaa OG actress Vidya Balan who has popularly been known for her role “Manjulika” will also be joining Bhool Bhualiyaa 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan.
Vidya Balan Joins Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Cast
On Monday, Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan made a joint Instagram post and revealed that the third installment to the superhit franchise is in the works. The duo also revealed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be releasing “this year” on Diwali 2024.
The caption of the post read, “And its happening (fire emoticon) Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya (red heart emoticon). This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3”.
Fans React To Bhool Bhualiyaa 3 Announcement
Reacting to the surprising announcement, many fans came out and asked makers to bring back OG actor Akshay Kumar in the film as well. A user commented, “No offence to my fav kartik but OG Akshay should also come back”, apart from Akshay netizens also urged the makers to bring Paresh Rawal in the cast as well, one wrote, “Kuch bhi bolo ko first tha na usko you can never ever replace. Hope to see Akshay, Paresh Rawal and other cast members too”.
