Internet sensation Urfi Javed has always remained the center of attention for her styling and her sartorial clothing picks. However, her styling has now seemingly landed her in trouble. A video of Urfi is now making rounds on the internet in which she was arrested by female police officers.
The viral video was shared by the paparazzo account Viral Bhayani, two police officers were seen approaching Urfi Javed who came out of a restaurant. They told Urfi that she had to follow them to the station. When Urfi asked for the reason the officers stated that she could not wear such small clothes in public so she had to accompany them to the station.
However, many netizens claimed that the video was staged and was just a publicity stunt. Calling the video fake a user commented, “This is beyond fake, more publicity”, one wrote, “Real police km or rohit sheety ki police zyda lgri hai”, another wrote, “50 Rupye Kat lo tino ke overacting ka !! “.
On the other hand, many netizens came out in support of Urfi. Normalising wearing short clothes a user commented, “WTF now we don’t have right to wear what we want in this country? What is happening, they should rather focus on the crime rates and rapes happening in the city”. Another commented, “Bollywood me to sabhi aise kapde pehente hai”.
While there’s still no confirmation whether it was a staged performance or a publicity stunt. Urfi had previously landed into trouble for her clothing choices. As per Etimes, a complaint was filed against her in October at the Bandra Police Statio for her clothing.
