Actor and comedian Sunil Grover recently underwent bypass surgeries after a minor heart attack. According to the reports, Sunil suffered a heart attack last month and was taken to hospital on January 8. His three arteries were found to be blocked and to treat him, four bypass surgeries were done on him.
As the news came out, his fans and well-wishers from across the globe expressed their concern and sent prayers and wishes for the speedy recovery of the well-known performer. His ex-colleague Kapil Sharma also opened up about the news of Sunil Grover’s heart surgery.
Kapil said, “I was totally shocked and I am extremely concerned about Sunil’s health. I had sent him a message but obviously, he just got discharged yesterday, so I can’t expect a message back from him. He had to undergo heart surgery at a very young age, but he will be fine soon. I have inquired about his health from our common friends. Working in the industry for such a long time, we have many friends and they regularly update me about his well-being and health.”
Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma worked together on two comedy shows- Comedy Nights With Kapil and the previous seasons of The Kapil Sharma Show. However, Sunil quit The Kapil Sharma Show, after Kapil allegedly abused him on a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai in 2017.
Since then, Sunil has been pursuing his career as an actor. He was seen in Salman Khan’s film Bharat. He featured in a different avatar in the controversial Amazon Prime Video web series Tandav, featuring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. He also led the ZEE5 comedy series Sunflower.
