Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been winning the hearts of its audience over the last 15 years. People still watch all the episodes of the television sitcom on repeat. However, the show remains in the news for some reasons. And one of them is Shailesh Lodha’s big allegation against producer Asit Kumarr Modi. Now the actor-poet has again shocked everyone as he has filed a complaint against Asit Kumarr over unpaid dues.
Shailesh Lodha left the show in April 2022, but not for a straightforward reason. Since then, his cryptic post and shocking statement have gained much attention. According to News 18, Lodha has sued the show’s producer, Modi, and his production team for allegedly not paying his dues. Reports claim that he filed the complaint in the first week of March 2023.
According to several reports, he has now approached the National Company Law Tribunal. The actor has started a corporate insolvency resolution under Section 9. The case will be heard next month, in May. When the media portal asked Lodha about the same, he refused to comment, saying the matter is “subjudice and under court.”
Till now, Asit Kumarr Modi has not given any statement of his own. The project head of the television show, Sohil Ramani, has revealed that they never denied or refused Lodha’s payment. According to him, Shailesh Lodha has refused to collect all due documents and collect his payment. When you leave any company or show, there are some rules and procedures that need to be followed and fulfilled. And no company will release the payment before completing the formalities.
