This war of words between the veteran classic actor and the ace comedian happened a few weeks ago when veteran actor Mukesh Khanna was not seen on the show during the Mahabharat Reunion episode. A few weeks ago in a video, he explained clearly his reason of not being on the show by saying that the show is very cheap and vulgar and that he was the one who openly refused the show invitation as well.

Then next thing he did was put a long instagram post on his account, where he wrote down about a huge list of complaints that he has with the Kapil Sharma show and now finally after not saying anything earlier, Kapil Sharma breaks silence on Mukesh Khanna’s cheap show remark.

While in an earlier interview with a leading digital entertainment website when asked about rejecting the invitation Khanna told, “The reason is that even though the Kapil Show is popular all over the country, I do not think there is a worse show than this. This show is full of fuhadpana, full of double meaning words, taking a turn towards vulgarity with every moment. In which the men wear women’s clothes, do cheap things and people laugh, holding their stomachs”.

Following his rage and fury against the Kapil Sharma show on Sony TV, his co-stars Gajendra Chauhan and Nitish Bhardwaj came on board to slam and mock Mukesh Khanna for unnecessarily insulting the Kapil Sharma show. So when Kapil was asked about his take on this war of words with veteran actor, he said that he would rather concentrate his entire energy on working hard to make the audiences smile and laugh.

In a very recent interview when Kapil was asked about the matter by a leading indian newspaper publication he said, “My team and I are working hard to make people smile during this crucial stage of the pandemic. When the whole world is going through a tough time, it is important to bring a smile on people’s faces. It depends on each individual ki aapko kis baat main khushi dhoondhni hai, aur kis baat main kami. I have chosen happiness and prefer to focus on my work and continue to keep doing that in the future”.

Also on the work front, Kapil has very recently wrapped up his shoot for his webseries that would mark his official digital debut in the web space for which many rumors say that he has charged a whopping amount of Rs. 20 crores but as of now there is no real confirmation on the same.
